More than 4,000 Muslim devotees attended the celebration of the Eid’l Fitr in Roxas Avenue, Davao City.
“Nararapat lamang na pasalamatan natin ang Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng pagsamba at pagdarasal sa kanya,” said Khatib Aleem Mohannad Abdulcader Diamel.

According to a “24 Oras” report by GMA Regional TV’s Rgil Relator on Wednesday, a greeting was also extended by Davao City Catholic Archbishop Romulo Valles, who attended the celebration.
More than 3,000 Muslims also attended the congregational prayer and celebration in Zamboanga City.
Meanwhile, more than 500 Muslim sidewalk vendors were given family food packs and rice in Cagayan de Oro City.
“Ang tagal ko na dito sa Cagayan de Oro, ngayon ko lang natikman ang pagbati, pagpapahalaga sa aming mga Muslim,” said vendor Rey Alonto.

Similar successful celebrations were also done in Pikit, Cotabato, Cotabato City, Bohol, Aurora, and Ilocos Norte.
In Manila, thousands of Muslims gathered at the Quirino Grandstand since dawn to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
