Where to find some of the best Election Day deals and parties in Las Vegas Tuesday, November 5, is Election Day and Las Vegans are casting their ballots in local and national elections. Some bars and restaurants are encouraging folks to hit the polls by offering freebies; others will turn on the televisions for watch parties. Although it’s unlikely that the final results of the presidential race will be announced today, communing with fellow voters may prove more exciting and less agonizing than doomscrolling on the couch. Here are some of the best Election Day deals and parties in Las Vegas.
There’s still time to vote! Nevada voters can register at the polls on November 5. Queue to vote or drop off your ballot to a ballot box by 7 p.m. on Election Day or in the mail so it’s postmarked with today’s date.
Election Day Watch Parties
Gipsy Las Vegas (4605 Paradise Road) will host an Election Night watch party at 5 p.m. with live election coverage on the big screen. Gather at the gay nightclub with fellow voters, popcorn, and small bites.
Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World will host a “politically neutral” Election Day viewing party. Doors open at 4 p.m. with $15 red and blue cocktails. Reservations are encouraged.
The Ahern Hotel is throwing an Election Night party from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is free with pizza, beer, and other dishes available for purchase, plus an option for premium seating and a buffet. The event description mentions no political affiliation, but the Ahern is known to host Trump rallies and QAnon conferences.
