Team captains Japeth Aguilar and Mark Barroca have finalized their respective rosters for the 2024 PBA All-Star Game following a Draft Show on Monday night ahead of the festivities set on March 22 to 24 in Bacolod.

Aguilar selected his Barangay Ginebra teammate Christian Standhardinger as the top pick while Barroca went for reigning seven-time MVP June Mar Fajardo for his first choice.

Aguilar then picked several Ginebra players in Scottie Thompson, Stanley Pringle, Jamie Malonzo, and Maverick Ahanmisi while Paul Lee, Calvin Oftana, Chris Newsome, Don Trollano, Marcio Lassiter, Arvin Tolentino, Tyler Tio, and Terrence Romeo completed his 14-man lineup.

Barroca, on the other hand, also opted to go for some of his Magnolia teammates in Ian Sangalang, Jio Jalalon, and Calvin Abueva for familiarity and chemistry. Rounding out his roster are Jason Perkins, CJ Perez, Robert Bolick, James Yap, Jayson Castro, Gabe Norwood, Ricci Rivero, Cliff Hodge, Juami Tiongson, and Nards Pinto.

Tim Cone will call the shots for Team Japeth while San Miguel coach Jorge Gallent will be at the helm of Team Barroca following his championship run with the Beermen in the Commissioner’s Cup.

For the Rookies, Sophomore, and Juniors (RSJ) showdown, Peter Martin will be the head coach of Stalwarts while Patrick Partosa will lead the Greats.

San Miguel guard Kyt Jimenez headlines the Stalwarts alongside John Amores, Stephen Holt, Keith Datu, Fran Yu, Adrian Nocum, Kim Aurin, JM Calma, Joshua Munzon, Anton Asistio, Santi Santillan, and Keith Zaldivar.

Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, who was recently traded by NLEX to TNT, banners the Greats together with Javi Gomez de Liaño, Ken Tuffin, Jerrick Ahanmisi, Justin Arana, Ralph Cu, Andrei Caracut, RK Ilagan, Alec Stockton, Gian Mamuyac, James Laput, and Shaun Ildefonso.

For this year’s All-Star edition, the PBA is bringing in two three-point shootout contests, one each for the bigs and guards while the obstacle challenge will also return.
