South Korean actress and singer Bae Seul Gi has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
In a YouTube video titled “Shy Confession,” she said that she is “so happy to become a mother.”
She added that she gifted her husband, YouTuber Lee Seob, the test, along with a flower bouquet and handwritten letter.
Bae Seul Gi also made an Instagram post to announce the happy news, featuring photos of sonograms, a positive pregnancy test, and flowers.
“At last, a precious life has come to me as well! It’s only been nine weeks, so I’m cautiously delivering the news. I’m so grateful and happy!” she said.
The baby’s nickname is Leeseul, a combination of hers and her husband’s name.
Bae Seul Gi debuted in 2005 with the project group The Red. After their split, she has been a solo singer since 2006.
She acted in the dramas “The Greatest Love” and “Midnight Hospital,” and the film “Couples.” Bae Seul Gi has also appeared in variety shows and hosted music programs.
