Apart from travelers headed to the provinces, road widening activities also slowed traffic in some parts of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Mark Salazar reported on ”24 Oras” on Wednesday.
Vehicular traffic was moving at only 10–20 km/h at Susana Heights, but it was faster as it got closer to Southwoods and then started to slow down again at the Eton Exit.
Due to the road widening project, some areas of SLEX only had three lanes.
Meanwhile, motorists were reminded to ensure that their vehicles were in good condition.
Motorists must also be in good physical condition.
It’s also better to do research about the routes to the destination ahead of time to avoid any delays. — Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
