Rio Locsin has denied claims that there is no medic on the set of “Black Rider” after she was seen crying hard after a scene was already over.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Monday, it was alleged that the veteran actress had difficulty breathing and did not get medical assistance on the set.

Rio debunked the reports, saying that she did not need any medical attention at that time.

“Wala pong kapabayaan na nangyayari sa set ng Black Rider,” she said. “May medics po kami, meron po kaming mga ambulansya, merong kaming mga security officers. Wala po, alagang-alaga po ako sa set. Wala pong untoward incident.”

Rio said she did not have any medical issues that needed to be addressed.

“Hindi po ako inatake ng hika, wala po akong hika. Hindi rin po ako nagkaroon ng anxiety attack, wala rin pong ganun. ‘Yun lang talaga, mabigat lang po talaga ‘yung eksena,” she said.

Rio explained that it was already her fourth scene to shoot, hence her heightened emotions.

“Masyado nang mataas ‘yung emosyon ko na pagdating doon sa ika-fourth scene hindi ko na siya mapigilan kahit after the scene,” she said.

Ruru Madrid, the lead star of “Black Rider,” comforted Rio as she was coming down from her emotions.

The Primetime Action Hero also called for an end to the spread of wrong information.

“Imposible pong walang medic sa set dahil hindi po natin alam ang puwedeng mangyari sa atin during du’n sa time na nagtatrabaho po tayo,” he said.

“At the same time bukod po sa medic meron tayong naka-stand-by na mga kapulisan po natin. may naka-stand-by din po tayo na fire fighters,” he added.

Black Rider” airs on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after “24 Oras.” It also stars Yassi Pressman, Matteo Guidicelli, Jon Lucas, Katrina Halili, Herlene Budol, Michelle Dee, and more.
