Choco Mucho and PLDT made quick work of their foes to gain a share of lead in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena.

The High Speed Hitters blanked a shorthanded Akari with a 25-17, 25-20, 25-19 win while Choco Mucho pulled off a similar sweep victory against the streaking Galeries Tower, 25-13, 25-19, 25-17, to forge a triple tie at the top spot with identical 6-1 cards alongside defending champion Creamline.

Majoy Baron and Savannah Davison joined forces in steering PLDT to its sixth win in seven games with the veteran middle blocker top-scoring with 13 points anchored on eight attacks, three aces, and two blocks while the Filipino-Canadian spiker poured in 11 markers and six receptions.

The Chargers, who fell to a 2-5 slate, banked on Dindin Santiago-Manabat who put together a team-high nine points while Erika Raagas and Grethcel Soltones each had eight.

In the second game, Sisi Rondina once again took charge after the high-flying 5-foot-6 outside hitter flirted with a triple-double of 16 points, 13 receptions, and eight digs while Cherry Nunag chipped in 12 markers.

The Highrisers, who were on a two-game winning streak before the match, slipped to 2-5 despite the efforts from Audrey Paran and France Ronquillo, who tallied nine and eight points, respectively.
