The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) responded to two medical emergencies in different provinces in recent days.
In a statement released Wednesday, the PCG said it responded to distress calls, one in Batangas and the other in Palawan, regarding medical emergencies.
In one incident, PCG Batangas responded to a 15-year-old who suffered a seizure onboard a vessel who had been diagnosed with heart and kidney complications.
In Puerto Princesa, Palawan a 71-year-old Canadian citizen was rescued on Monday after having complications on board following a diving activity.
