Paolo Contis talks about past conflict with Desiree del Valle on ‘Tabing llog’ set

Paolo Contis and Patrick Garcia went down the memory lane when they appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.”

The two actors looked back on their days on the 1999 series “Tabing Ilog,” where they starred alongside John Lloyd Cruz, Kaye Abad, Baron Geisler, Desiree del Valle, Jodi Sta. Maria, Paula Peralejo, and more.

When they were asked to talk about what they remember the most about their co-stars, Paolo revealed that he and Desiree once had a conflict on the set of the show.

“There was a time na ‘yung friendship namin ni Des hindi naging OK, na nagkaroon ng point na hindi kami nagkikita sa set kahit magka-eksena kami,” he said.

Paolo did not give anymore details, but he admitted during the “Fast Talk” segment that he once courted Desiree.

Meanwhile, Patrick shared a funny story of John Lloyd snatching his beloved watermelon seeds.

“Kasi iniipon ko eh. Tapos sabay-bay kong [isusubo]. Kinuha niya sa ‘kin tapos [kinain niya],” he said. “Masama ang loob ko nun.”

Paolo and Patrick, together with Kaye, have an upcoming film titled “A Journey.” It will be available for streaming on Netflix on April 12.

Paolo is one of the mainstays of “Bubble Gang,” which airs Sundays at 6:15 p.m. after “24 Oras Weekend.”
