Malacañang has suspended work in government offices on March 27, 2024 from 12 noon onwards to allow employees to travel to the provinces in observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

According to the Memorandum Circular No. 45 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective employers. —NB, GMA Integrated News
