A woman was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tarosanan, Milaor, Camarines Sur.
Approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated value of P340,000, and a grenade launcher was confiscated from the suspect’s residence.
The suspect’s live-in partner escaped. He is allegedly connected to high-profile drug personalities based in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The suspect was allegedly sourcing illegal drugs from NCR. The police said they have received reports that personalities may be involved in the trade.
“That is part of our backtracking investigation to uncover who these personalities are,” Mark Anthony Viray, the Provincial Director of PDEA Camarines Sur, said.
Investigation continues to arrest the suspect’s accomplice.—GMA Regional TV
