(UPDATE) REELECTIONIST Sen. Bong Go emerged as the most popular senatorial bet in the non-commissioned Boses ng Pilipino Survey, two weeks ahead of the May 12 midterm polls.Go topped the Magic 12 with 57%, closely followed by former Senate president Tito Sotto with 54.3%, and Sen. Ronald dela Rosa, 46%.Sharing the 4th to 5th spots were Sen. Pia Cayetano with 44.5%, followed by ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo with 44%.At the 6th to 7th positions were Makati Mayor Abby Binay with 40.7% and broadcaster Ben Tulfo with 39%.Las Piñas City Rep. Camille Villar was at 8th place with 37.9%, closely followed in a statistical tie for 8th to 9th places by Sen. Francis Tolentino with 37.5%.Sharing the 10th to 11th spots were former senator Panfilo Lacson with 36% and Sen. Imee Marcos with 35.8%.In 12th to 14th places were Sen. Lito Lapid with 32%, Sagip party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta with 30.5%, and former senator Gregorio Honasan with 29.6%.At 15th to 16th places, with a chance to enter the Magic 12, were TV host Willie Revillame with 27% and Sen. Ramon Revilla with 25%. In the 17th to 19th positions were former senator Manny Pacquiao with 23%, former Local Government secretary Benhur Abalos with 23%, and actor Phillip Salvador with 22%.In 20th place was lawyer Jimmy Bondoc with 21%, followed closely at 21st to 23rd places by former senator Bam Aquino with 20%, 1-Rider party-list Rep. Bonifacio Bosita with 19% and former Commission on Audit commissioner Heidi Mendoza with 18%.In 24th place was former executive secretary Vic Rodriguez with 17% and former senator Kiko Pangilinan at 25th place with16%.The latest Pulso ng Pilipino survey was conducted by Issues and Advocacy Center on April 11-15 and 19-22, using a combined face-to-face multistage area probability sampling and random digital access methodology among 1,800 respondents nationwide.The survey has a margin of error of + 3% and a confidence level of in excess of 98%.
