The live action adaptation of “Minecraft” just finished filming!
Actor Jason Momoa shared a group photo of the cast on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the cast and crew.
“MINECRAFT WE ARE WRAPPING,” he wrote. “All my aloha to my crew and cast. Unbelievable movie experience truly one of the greatest times of my life. Too many laughs.”
The actors and production crew were in New Zealand for filming.
Directed by Jared Hess, “Minecraft” stars Momoa, Jack Black, and Jennifer Coolidge.
It also stars Kate McKinnon, Danielle Brooks, Jemaine Clement, Emma Meyers, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen.
The movie is slated for release in April 2025.
Minecraft is a popular video game released in 2011.
