Marian Rivera took the time from her busy schedule to not only attend Dingdong Dantes’ graduation from a Naval Basic Course Class, but to do the honors of pinning the medals on her husband.

On Instagram, Dingdong proudly shared photos from his graduation day and thanked his wife for her support.

“Major shoutout sa aking super supportive na ,isis for showing up today and pinning the ‘Riffle Expert Badge’ and the ‘Kapanalig Medal’ on me,” Dingdong said as he joked how he was frozen in place because he didn’t “want to risk becoming a human pin cushion!”

“Always,” Marian affirmed her support to her husband.

Dingdong is among those who graduated from the Naval Combat Engineer Officer Basic Course Class on Monday.

In another Instagram post, the Kapuso Primetime King narrated his kids’ reaction to his graduation gala uniform, with Sixto inquiring about it.

When he said, “I would attend my graduation rites in the Seabees Headquarters,” Dingdong shared how his panganay Zia, screamed astounded from the second floor of their new home: “What? You will graduate? Are you a student?”

“I just smiled and answered that, yes, even old people can still study and finish anything as long as they want to, because learning should never stop,” Dingdong wrote.

“As a reservist, it is a privilege to be given these opportunities to acquire new skills which can definitely enhance many aspects of my life as a professional, father, and husband,” he added, saying it was “an honor to receive the certificate of completion from King Bee himself, Commodore Rolando Sarmiento.”

Congratulations, Dong!
