President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has appointed lawyer Rogelio Quevedo as commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG).
This was announced by the Presidential Communications Office on Thursday.
Prior to his latest appointment, Quevedo served as the government corporate counsel who is tasked to safeguard the legal interests of government-owned or -controlled corporations.
The PCGG is mandated to “recover the ill-gotten wealth accumulated by the former President Ferdinand Marcos, his immediate family, relatives, subordinates and close associates whether located in the Philippines or abroad.” —NB, GMA Integrated News
