President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has appointed lawyer Jose Moises Salonga as the new administrator of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA).
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said Monday that Salonga replaced Homer Revil.
According to the PCO, Salonga graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 1999 with a degree in Economics. He earned his law degree from the same university in 2003.
PCO also said Salonga took a master’s degree in Public Safety Administration at the Philippine Public Safety College and graduated in 2017.
Salonga served in the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force of the Philippine National Police, the National Power Corp., Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), First Farmers’ Rural Bank of Batangas Inc., Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corp., Office of the Executive Secretary, and PNOC-Renewable Corp.
He also worked for the First Cabanatuan Renewable Ventures Inc., Emergence Management and Consulting Corp., as well as in the local government of Quezon City. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA Integrated News
