President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed former Court of Appeals Associate Justice Elihu Ybañez as a new commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG).
The agency is tasked with recovering the ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos family and their associates.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) named Ybañez as a new commissioner along with other appointees in other departments in a Facebook post.
Aside from Ybañez, the PCO said Marcos also appointed retired Police Major General Eliseo Cruz as an assistant secretary of the Department of Justice.
Meanwhile, Marcos appointed Rosalio Aragon Jr. as a member representing the workers sector of the NCR Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board.—Joahna Lei Casilao/AOL, GMA Integrated News
