Manny de Guzman: a climate champion to many

WITH climate change emerging as the top global issue, according to the Climate Reality Barometer Survey 2023, many Generation COP (Gen COP), or those born since the first Conference of Parties (COP) in 1995, have been looking for climate champions to follow, support and emulate.

A climate champion is an individual, organization or entity that demonstrates exceptional leadership, commitment and action in addressing climate change. They play a crucial role in advocating for bold climate action, raising awareness about the urgency of addressing climate change, driving political will and mobilizing resources, and implementing solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build resilience and transition to a low-carbon economy.
