Local rapper allegedly shoots, kills American in Cebu bar fight

An American national was shot dead outside a bar in Cebu City, allegedly by a known local rapper, GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak’s Lou Anne Mae Rondina reported Sunday on 24 Oras Weekend.

CCTV footage shows the altercation taking place outside a bar around 7 a.m. on Sunday.

A blue car arrived and almost ran down the victim, who was then kicked by another man.

As the altercation continued, the driver of the car eventually stepped down and shot the victim.

The suspect, a known rapper in Cebu City, was found at his manager’s house.

“Yung foreigner, sir, nambastos siya sa mga kasama ko na kaibigan kong mga babae. Nanghipo siya ng puwet,” said the suspect.

(The foreigner, sir, was disrespecting my female friends who were with me. He was touching their behinds.)

“Sinabihan namin siya ng tigilan ang panghihipo pero di ito tumigil, kaya yun. Nagawa ko yung krimen,” he added.

(We asked him to stop, but he kept doing it. That’s why I ended up doing what I did.)
