Kristoffer Martin couldn’t help but turn emotional as he looked back at the time when he left his wife, AC Banzon, and their daughter, Pré.
On Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle star said that that point in his life is no longer a secret to many.
The “Makiling” star said that he was away from his family for months and that he did regret doing so.
Kristoffer said his wife, AC, said that if they did not go through that rough patch, their relationship would not have changed. He recalled that before he left, they would constantly fight.
Kristoffer took full responsibility for his actions and said there was no one else to blame except him.
“‘Di ako proud ha. Kasi kung iisipin ko, kupal eh. Sobrang kupal nung time na ginawa ko ‘yon,” he said.
Kristoffer apologized to Pré and AC, saying his wife’s love is unconditional.
“Gusto ko lang humingi ng sorry sa anak ko, ‘yung mga panahon na hinanap niya ako,” he said teary-eyed, saying he also missed his daughter every day that time.
To AC, he said, “Love, ikaw ‘yung pinakanasaktan.
Kristoffer said that he thinks he will never experience the same love that AC gives him anywhere else.
“Every day, Tito Boy, ‘yun ‘yung parang ano sa ‘kin, na kailangan kong magmake-up doon sa mistake. Forever ‘yon, Tito Boy. Hinding-hindi mawawala,” he said.
Kristoffer and AC got married in Capas, Tarlac in February 2022.
Kristoffer first revealed that he was already a father to a four-year-old girl in 2021.
Pré is now seven years old and is already showing interest in joining showbiz.
