Jessy Mendiola revealed that she and Luis Manzano held a second wedding because both their families would be present, which was always their dream.

Posting more snaps of their wedding on Instagram, the actress said that they wanted to push through with it when the time was right and with their favorite people there.

“Our dream was to get the Lord’s blessing on our union and we wanted both our families present during that special moment,” Jessy said.

“It was also the first time Rosie met my whole family, from my parents down to her cousins,” she added.

Jessy also said that they first had a wedding in the chapel which was followed by a beach ceremony with their loved ones.

“Oh, what a wonderful feeling to be walked down the aisle by your parents,” Jessy said. “Seeing Rosie and Luis at the end of the aisle will be a memory embedded in my heart (& mind) forever.”

“I never thought I’d be able to experience this. Thank you Lord God for making this happen,” she added. “My heart is so so full. I will cherish this moment forever.”

Luis and Jessy first got married in 2021 in an intimate civil ceremony. Their second wedding was held in Palawan this month.

The couple also had a welcome dinner for their guests ahead of the ceremony. Their family members, including Vilma Santos, Edu Manzano, and Senator Ralph Recto, were among those present.

Jessy announced the birth of Isabella Rose, also called Rosie or Peanut, in January 2023. The mother and daughter had a joint birthday celebration last December.
