Jackie Lou Blanco says ‘Abot Kamay na Pangarap’ role is ‘a beautiful surprise’

Jackie Lou Blanco is nothing but grateful and thrilled to be part of “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” as a guest actor.

On Instagram, the actress posted some behind-the-scenes snaps from her time on the GMA Afternoon Prime drama series.

Jackie Lou said she is a longtime fan of the series and “had hoped to be part of it.”

“So when the call came, sabi ko ‘Thank you Lord,’” she said.

The seasoned actress played Madame Lotus, the leader of the prison where Moira (Pinky Amador) is jailed. Jackie Lou called the experience “such a beautiful surprise.”

“Never played a character like her, so I loved it!” Jackie Lou said. “May comic lightness mixed with delivering the lines with one tone which worked when she had to be feared more.”

She then thanked the whole cast and crew “who were such a joy to work with.”

Jackie Lou said, “It’s been a blast Madame Lotus! Blessed and Grateful!”

“Abot Kamay na Pangarap” celebrated its first anniversary in September 2023. Lead stars Jillian Ward and Ken Chan previously teased more intense episodes of the series.

The series also stars Carmina Villaroel, Richard Yap, and Kazel Kinouchi.

Klea Pineda joined the show this year. Pokwang was also a guest star on the series in January, where she played a fictional version of herself.
