BAGUIO CITY — The international floating bookfair “MV Doulos Hope” docked at the Poro Point Freeport Zone, City of San Fernando, La Union on Wednesday ahead of its grand opening slated Friday.
MV Doulos Hope is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 8 p.m. as the last entry.
The ship is closed on Mondays. For convenience, visitors may pre-register at https://thelittleboxoffice.
The La Union provincial government and the La Union National High School Marching Band welcomed Mv Doulos Hope.
“Salamat,” one of the crew, Jess Tanton remarked as she expressed appreciation for the assistance and warm welcome La Union extended to them.
The floating book fair is open until March 24, 2024 with an entrance fee of P50. Senior Citizens, Persons with Disability, and children who are 12 years old and below are free to enter the MV Doulos.
La Union Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David said she identifies with the team of MV Doulos Hope “in sharing knowledge, help and hope”.
