Ina Feleo looked back on her time with the late Jaclyn Jose in her latest Instagram post.

The Kapuso actress has nothing but praise for Jaclyn, whom she called “The Cannes Best Actress na walang ka ere-ere and was so so real.”

The two actresses were cast members of the GMA drama series “The Better Woman.” Although they only worked together only briefly, Ina said they spent a lot of lunch breaks and downtime together.

“I was starstruck in the beginning to be in her presence but that quickly melted away because she was so humble and not pa-humble,” Ina said. “She legit didn’t think she should be treated any differently.”

When the show ended, Ina said the late veteran actress asked for her address to send her something.

“I freaked out kasi akala ko kung ano na ipapadala niya sa akin, but she sent me this bag that I wore to the wake,” she said.

The vintage bag also had a handwritten letter inside, where Jaclyn called Ina “Such a good actress.”

Ina said, “My gahd para din akong nanalo ng award.”

She added that Jaclyn would message her about “a wide range of topics from ‘what is the capital of Finland’ to ‘mahal kita alam mo yan.’”

“She was so endearing in her way. Mahal din kita tita, happy happy ka na ngayon sa langit.”

Jaclyn’s daughter Andi Eigenmann saw the post and commented, “Love you Ina.”

Born Mary Jane Guck, Jaclyn died on March 2 at 60 years old. Andi revealed in a press conference that she died due to a heart attack.

Jaclyn’s death was first announced by her agency, PPL Entertainment. Her family, through the Philippine National Police, also previously said that there was no foul play involved.

More of Jaclyn’s notable performances include roles in films like “The Flor Contemplacion Story” and “Patay Na Si Hesus.” She also starred in several GMA Network series, including “Marimar,” “The Millionaire’s Wife,” and “D’Originals.”

The Eigenmann family, celebrities, and industry colleagues are mourning the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.

Ina was among the stars who gathered at Jaclyn’s wake. More attendees include Jake Ejercito, Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Andrea Torres, Gina Alajar, Gladys Reyes, Dominic Zapata, and many more.
