For Glaiza De Castro, it was “surreal” to return to the ABS-CBN compound for “It’s Showtime.”

On Instagram, the actress shared that before she became a Kapuso actress, she participated in Kapamilya workshops.

“Remembering those days when we would finish our workshops and watch gigs in the evening sa Mag:Net and Dish (kung saan ko unang napanood ang Up Dharma Down) at kung saan saan pa,” Glaiza said.

She added that she would hang out in the tech department to record ringback tones, and to also play music and talk about films with the team.

“Will never forget the cds that you compiled for me!” Glaiza said.

“Dito ko rin na meet ang mga ka berks na hanggang ngayon ay ka berks ko parin,” she added.

With this newest GMA and ABS-CBN collaboration, Glaiza said, “Ang saya lang balikan at isipin na mas maraming pang mas magagandang mangyayari sa pag sasanib pwersa na ‘to. Ika nga ng UDD; ‘…the world is your playground, but you will always be home.’”

“It’s Showtime” premiered on GMA-7 on April 6. The noontime show had an epic opening number which also served as Vice Ganda’s birthday prod, and had trending moments.

Glaiza participated in the “Karaokids” segment, where she exchanged “avisalas” with fellow Sang’gres Karylle and Gabbi Garcia.

Glaiza is set to return as Pirena in the “Encantadia” spin-off series “Sang’gre.”

She also appeared in the film “Slay Zone” with Pokwang and is part of “Running Man Philippines.”
