It has been 10 years since Gabbi Garcia started her showbiz career.
According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, the Sparkle star had a thanksgiving lunch to celebrate the milestone.
“Show business changed my life and the people around me. Nothing but a grateful heart for everybody, sa GMA family ko, sa Sparkle, to all the brands who trusted me all these years,” Gabbi said.
Among those present at the celebration were Gabbi’s GMA Network and Sparkle family, including GMA Network Inc. Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo.
“Congratulations, Gabbi. Thank you for being with us, with GMA and Sparkle, for ten years now and lalo kang gumaganda, gumagaling, lahat-lahat na. So I can’t wait for the next ten years. Oo, maraming naka-line-up. Actually, pinag-aagawan siya, one of our most in-demand artists,” Annette said.
Gabbi’s parents and her boyfriend, Khalil Ramos, also joined her in the celebration.
“This day is very special for Gabbi. This day marks her 10th year in the industry. We can’t be more proud of her,” Khalil said.
Gabbi is set to reprise her role as Alena in “Sang’gre,” which stars Bianca Umali, Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, and Faith Da Silva.
“Nag-fitting na kami ng costumes namin. Tuwang-tuwa ako kasi I finally got to see my warrior outfit again. I finally got to be Alena again even for just the day ng fitting. I’m really excited kasi nag-start nang mag-taping ‘yung mga Sang’gres from 2016, sina Sanya [Lopez], sina Glaiza [De Castro], and next na kami,” she said.
Gabbi recently starred in the historic GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Viu Philippines collaboration project “Unbreak My Heart.”
