Andi Eigenmann welcomed her brother, Gwen Guck, to Siargao after the sudden death of their mother, Jaclyn Jose.

On Instagram, the former actress shared photos of her brother bonding with her children Ellie, Lilo, and Koa.

“An introduction to the island life for my (not so) little brother,” Andi wrote in the caption.

“It did not happen in the circumstance we had hoped for, but I’m glad to finally do this nonetheless,” she added.

Andi said her mother didn’t get the chance to go to Siargao and visit their home when she was still alive.

“But I would like to believe she lovingly watched over us from her paradise,” she said. “After all, all I can do now is to believe.”

Andi ended her post by reminding her followers that “life is uncertain.”

“Look after your people. Hug them. Love them. Cherish them. Hold your loved ones close,” she said.

Born Mary Jane Guck, Jaclyn died on March 2 at 60 years old. Andi revealed in a press conference that she died due to a heart attack.

The Eigenmann family, celebrities, and industry colleagues mourned the passing of the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.

Among the stars who gathered at Jaclyn’s wake include Jake Ejercito, Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Andrea Torres, Gina Alajar, Gladys Reyes, Dominic Zapata, Ina Feleo, and many more.
