Fil-Am Nation Select and Top Flight Sports Canada ruled their respective divisions in the NBTC National Finals on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Fil-Am Nation defeated Adamson University, 79-71, in the finals to win the Division 1 title.
Terrence Hill had 12 points, six in the fourth period, on top of five assists and four rebounds to lead Fil-Am Nation to the victory. He was eventually named as the Division 1 Most Outstanding Player (MOP).
Earlier, Top Flight Sports Canada eked out a 95-93 victory against Eco Green-Makati for the Division 2 title.
JC Espinosa had 17 points and six rebounds for the foreign club. Allen Vergara of Canada was named the Division 2 MOP.
Fil-Am Nation and Top Flight Canada became the first foreign clubs to win NBTC.
