On Instagram, the Sparkle actress proudly shared the movie has been selected as among the officially entries of the film festival that will be held in Nagoya on May 25 and 26, 2024.
“Honored to be given this opportunity and to experience this side by side with our National Artist, the one and the only Ms. Nora Aunor,” Bianca said.
Set in Siquijor, “Mananambal” tells the story of, well, a mananambal, a Filipino practitioner of traditional medicine, who is also capable of performing sorcery.
The film is directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. and also stars EA Guzman and Kelvin Miranda.
Previously, Bianca’s boyfriend, Ruru Madrid, expressed his support for his girlfriend’s upcoming movie.
“Congratulations sa aking Mahal!” he wrote on Instagram, tagging the actress. “Alam ko kung gaano mo ito pinaghandaan at pinagpaguran, kaya sigurado akong magtatagumpay ka at ang lahat ng bumubuo ng pelikula na ito.”
