Anya Taylor-Joy reveals she had a secret first wedding in 2022

Anya Taylor-Joy revealed that she and her husband, musician Malcolm McRae, had a private first wedding back in 2022.

The Hollywood actress posted pictures from the special day on Instagram to celebrate their anniversary. Anya wore a stunning Dior embroidered wedding gown and the couple had “anatomically correct heart cakes.”

The photos were by model and actress Cara Delevingne and photographer Sebastian Faena.

“Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever,” Anya said in her caption.

“Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest,” she added.

Aside from the private ceremony, the couple had another wedding at the historic Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice last October.

Anya is best known for her role in “The Queen’s Gambit” as Beth Harmon, for which she won honors at the Golden Globe Awards, Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards. More of her top work includes “Peaky Blinders” and “Dune: Part Two.”
