Alleged thief in Cebu City returns broken washing machine to owner thumbnail


A man who reportedly stole a washing machine returned it to the owner after he found out the equipment is not working anymore. 

The 21-year-old man in Cebu City, who was identified by the Inayawan Police as a repeat offender, carried back the broken appliance to its owner, saying he has not obtained something from it.

Police Major Jiceree Basitao of the Inayawan Police Station said that the owner of the washing machine saw the suspect returning the lost item.

The suspect admitted to taking the washing machine at around 1 a.m. in Sitio Villa Buena, Barangay Kinasang-an. —GMA Regional TV
