Adamson University and Fil-Am Nation Select will face off for the crown in the NBTC National Finals on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Baby Falcons ousted Mapua University in the Fearless Four round, 70-65, on Friday with John Ray Abayon posting 19 points and eight rebounds as they advanced to the Division 1 finals.
Fil-Am Nation, meanwhile, ended Batang Tiaong’s journey, 81-72, with Terrence Hill registering 18 points and seven rebounds. This will be Fil-Am Nation’s second straight finals appearance.
Division 2, on the other hand, will see Top Flight Canada and Eco Green-Makati in the finals.
Top Flight Canada dispatched Arellano University, 87-84, with Justin Thompson scoring 18 points.
Eco Green-Makati defeated Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas, 95-82, as Russell Bayani had 27 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
The All-Star Game of the NBTC24 will banner Saturday’s exhibition matches, as the NBTC will hold a Skills Challenge, Shooting Stars, Three-Point Shootout, and Girls All-Star Game.
