Three siblings who are all senior citizens perished in a fire that razed their home in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal.
According to a “24 Oras” report, two of the victims went back to the house to rescue their sibling who has a disability. However, the elderlies found themselves trapped in the burning structure, their relatives said.
The blaze quickly spread into the houses, but firefighters had difficulty responding due to the cable wires attached to the steel barriers.
The fire was put out after an hour.
