Win Metawin, Janella Salvador Gear Up for the Premiere of their International Movie ‘Under Parallel Skies’
Thai actor Win Metawin and Filipina actress Janella Salvador team-up in the upcoming romantic comedy movie “Under Parallel Skies.” Under Parallel Skies marks the inaugural collaboration between Metawin and Salvador on the silver screen, also representing their debut in international cinema. This is also the first movie starring a Thai and a Filipina since “Suddenly It’s Magic” in 2012, which featured Mario Maurer and Erich Gonzales, marking a gap of 12 years. The narrative revolves around a Thai bachelor (portrayed by Metawin) embarking on a journey to Hong Kong in pursuit of his missing mother. Along the way, he encounters a Filipino hotelier (played by Salvador) who becomes instrumental in guiding him through the complexities of love, heartbreak, and healing within the unfamiliar cityscape. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and directed by Sigrid Bernardo, the film is slated for release in the Philippines on April 17, in Singapore on May 1, and in Thailand on May 7. Richard Juan and Kristhoff Cagape of 28 Squared Studios serve as executive producers, with Two Infinity Entertainment of Hong Kong serving as the co-production company.
