Selecting the right fund manager

AS an investor, what you’d like to see is that your investments are performing well within and above your expected returns. It is for this reason that investors in pooled funds like mutual funds, unit investment trust fund, or variable universal life, would always check on how good the fund’s past performances are to serve as their guide before investing in that fund. But choosing a fund based solely on their past return is not enough as the past performance of the fund will not depict future results.

One essential task that you should undertake before plunging into the investment scene is to screen the people managing the fund. After all, it is in the hands of these fund managers if the future outcome of your investment will yield favorable to you.
