Rufa Mae Quinto got sentimental on Instagram as she paid tribute to her friend and co-star, Jaclyn Jose.

The comedienne shared an old photo from a project they did together.

In her caption, Rufa Mae had nothing but kind words for the late veteran actress.

“Napakasaya mong kasama, maganda, magaling, super cool, todo na talaga ang good vibes with you off camera. Kaya mahal na mahal ka naming lahat,” she said.

“Salamat sa chance maging nanay ka sa telebisyon—drama and comedy,” she added.

Rufa Mae sent her deepest “sympathy and condolences” to Jaclyn’s family. “Rest in peace friend,” she said.

Born Mary Jane Guck, Jaclyn died on March 2 at 60 years old. Her daughter, Andi Eigenmann, revealed in a press conference that she died due to a heart attack.

Jaclyn’s death was first announced by her agency, PPL Entertainment. Her family, through the Philippine National Police, also previously said that there was no foul play involved.

Jaclyn’s notable performances include roles in films like “The Flor Contemplacion Story” and “Patay Na Si Hesus.” She also starred in several GMA Network series, including “Marimar,” “The Millionaire’s Wife,” and “D’Originals.”

The Eigenmann family, celebrities, and industry colleagues are mourning the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.

Among the stars who gathered at Jaclyn’s wake are Jake Ejercito, Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Andrea Torres, Gina Alajar, Gladys Reyes, Dominic Zapata, Ina Feleo, and many more.
