MANILA, Philippines — A Philippine National Police (PNP) colonel embroiled in a sex scandal allegedly threatened his victim that he could make her disappear.
The victim made the revelation in her administrative complaint against the ranking police official that she filed before the Office of the Ombudsman on Thursday.
The woman, who admitted to having had an illicit affair with the PNP official for several years, said he threatened her several times when she attempted to end their relationship.
“He uses the official position to threaten the lives and safety of the complainant and her family by bragging that he can make enforced disappearances,” the victim said in her complaint addressed to Ombudsman Samuel Martires.
The woman said the police official told her he could have her disappear just like the case of a beauty pageant contestant who went missing in Batangas.
According to the victim, the police officer also warned her that he would send their sex videos to her family should she break up with him.
The victim filed criminal and administrative cases against the police official after one of their sex videos was sent to her husband and 17-year-old daughter.
The woman said the police official should be held liable for grave misconduct, gross immorality and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.
