Arroyo campaigning again after break
PAMPANGA 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has resumed campaigning for the May 12 midterm polls after attending to medical emergencies of her husband and son.
Lance Suarez, Arroyo's spokesman, said in a statement that the former president conducted house-to-house visits in San Roque Dau village in Lubao, Pampanga, as well as Natividad village in Guagua and the town of Porac.
Arroyo flew to Singapore on March 31 to accompany her husband, former first gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, who underwent a bypass and aortoplasty procedure.
The former president also revealed that her son Mikey, who was battling stage one thyroid cancer, underwent surgery on March 18.
