Amber Alert issued for 9-month-old baby believed taken from Anaheim
The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert on Sunday night for a 9-month-old baby who authorities said was abducted and last seen in Anaheim.
Leonardo Meza was last seen in the area of West Crescent Avenue and North Loara Street around 4:45 p.m. He is 1 foot long, weighs around 20 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, the CHP said.
The Amber Alert, activated on behalf of the Anaheim Police Department, was issued for Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial and Orange counties.
Police believe Roberto Castillo Meza, 30, abducted the child. Meza is 5 feet and 8 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Meza drives a tan 2003 Mercedes-Benz AMG with California tags 8HJV603.
Anyone who sees Leonardo, Meza or the suspect vehicle should call 911 immediately.
