2 CHP officers injured, 1 seriously, after crashing into tree in Culver City
Two California Highway Patrol officers were injured Wednesday, July 2, when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Culver City.
The crash was reported just after 12:30 a.m. on Bristol Parkway near Green Valley Circle, NBC4 reported.
One officer was seriously injured and taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center by Culver City Fire Department paramedics.
The second officer sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene, according to Fox11. The station also reported that the crash occurred while the officers were transporting a suspect, who was also taken to a hospital.
That person’s condition was not immediately clear.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
Bristol Parkway was closed in both directions from Green Valley Circle to Uplander Way, the Culver City Police Department announced.
