1 dead, 1 arrested after reported stabbing in North Hollywood
One man was found dead and another man arrested after reporters of a stabbing Friday evening in a residential North Hollywood neighborhood.
Officers just after 5:15 p.m. responded to reports of a stabbing in the 13100 block of Barbara Ann Street, near Ethel Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer J. Chaves.
A 37-year-old man who police suspect was responsible for the stabbing was taken into custody, the officer said.
The victim, a 68-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the names of the victim or suspect.
Authorities have not disclosed a suspected motive for the stabbing, or indicated whether it is believed to have occurred in or outside a residence.
