Hard-hitting bantamweight Jeremy Pacatiw feels better after joining Lions Nation MMA.

Pacatiw, 27, is one of the fighters who moved from Team Lakay to Lions Nation MMA last year. In his current team, Pacatiw enjoys having an in-house Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt coach, among other kinds of coaches.

“I feel like I’m more of a complete fighter now. I’m happy because I get all the assistance that I need in this camp,” said Pacatiw, who is slated to face Wang Shuo at ONE Fight Night 21 this Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand.

“This is the perfect match for me. He’s also coming off a layoff, and it will be a beautiful match between two men who are looking to prove a lot of things. I believe this fight will show who really worked during the offseason, and who improved.”

Though confident heading into the contest, Pacatiw also conceded that it has been a while since he last saw action inside the cage. He last competed in December 2022.

His upcoming opponent is also coming off a long layoff since Wang last fought in January 2022. For Pacatiw, getting the win is the sole focus for now.

“There’s definitely pressure. It’s been a while since I last competed so there’s that, there’s also going to be an adjustment being in a new team. I’m not thinking about getting into the rankings now,” Pacatiw stressed.

“My focus is to come in prepared and win the fight. If I get in the top five, it’s just a bonus.”
