Claudine Barretto, niece Julia reunite and bond at Johnny Manahan”s birthday party

Claudine Barretto and her niece Julia Barretto hugged it out during Johnny Manahan’s star-studded birthday party at Newport World Resorts on Saturday.

On Instagram, Tim Yap shared a photo and video carousel of highlights from what seemed to be a great night for Filipino showbiz personalities.

In one of the videos, Claudine and Julia can be seen clinging to each other as they smile at the camera. 

Other stars seen on the post include Heart Evangelista, Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales, and Kathryn Bernardo.

In a 2023 interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Claudine said “all’s well” between her and her sister Marjorie Barretto, and her nieces Dominique, Julia, Claudia, Dani, and nephew Leon. 

“We don’t get to talk-talk talaga, but all is well,” Claudine said.

“We see each other during lunches, dinners, meriendas with the family. We have a big family. And we small-talk,” she explained.

In the same interview, Claudine mentioned how proud she is of Julia as an actress.

“I’m proud of whatever it is [Julia] is achieving now. I want her to have more breaks para ma-showcase yung acting pa niya,” she said.
