Beauty Gonzalez”s daughter Olivia has ‘intense’ cameo scenes in upcoming movie ‘Pakil’
Beauty Gonzalez’s daughter Olivia’s first showbiz gig is a memorable one!
In an interview on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” the Kapuso actress said that she has an upcoming movie titled “Pakil” with JM De Guzman. Her eight-year-old daughter has a cameo in it, playing a young version of Beauty’s character.
Beauty said that the production asked for her permission for Olivia to participate, which led to her asking her daughter.
“Volunteer naman siya. Excited siya,” Beauty said.
“Akala ko nung una, ano lang kami, ‘yung parang, maglalakad lang siya, pacute pacute. Nagbiglang, naging limang sequence. Oh my God!” she added.
Beauty said that Olivia also had lines in Tagalog, which was something new for her.
“Tapos, may crying scene pa,” Beauty said. “Intense! Sabi ko, ‘on your first gig, intense na agad.”
Looking back, Beauty said that she should not have been worried at all.
“Because the moment she was on set, she was natural. Like, she handled it well. Like, she didn’t look at the camera. Umiyak siya. Pockets of tears. Walang kakurap-kurap. Naka two takes. I was like, ‘What the? Okay,’” she said.
Beauty added that since Olivia visits the set sometimes, she was able to observe her mannerisms.
“Na-shock ako na parang, wow!” Beauty said. “All this time na she’s observing me, what I’m doing, she’s doing it on set. Kuhang kuha niya yung ugali ko, [the way I say] ‘Yaya, water. Yaya, script. Yaya, fan.’ As in, kopyang kopya niya. Pati yung iyak ko, lakad ko.”
Overall, Beauty said “it was a beautiful experience for both of us” and that Olivia will have good memories to look back on when she grows up.
“She could watch the film and see herself na—naiyak naman ako—she did the film with her mama.”
Beauty married art curator Norman Crisologo in 2017. Olivia Ines is their only child.
Olivia has been charming netizens with her photos, videos, and pleasing personality.
