Andi Eigenmann pens touching tribute following Jaclyn Jose

Andi Eigenmann took to social media to share a heartfelt message for her late mom, Jaclyn Jose.

Sharing photos of a black butterfly, flowers, and Jaclyn’s final resting place, Andi wrote, “Higit pa sa sapat ang itinira mong pagmamahal para kami ay hindi mangulila.”

As she thanked Jaclyn for her guidance, Andi said she will carry her mom’s memories for the rest of her life.

“Sa kahit saang parte ng aking buhay parati kitang madarama. Parati kitang makikita,” Andi continued. “Ika’y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hanging aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag- asa at ligaya.”

[I feel you in every part of my life. I always see you. You are in the sun, in the rain, in the air that I breathe, singing songs full of hope and happiness.]

“Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot. Matatanaw pa rin kita sa mga ulap, at maririnig ang mga bulong ng iyong pagmamahal.”

[There is no more pain. There is no more fear. I see you in the clouds and hear whispers of your love.]

In her poetry, Andi expressed certainty they will see each other again. “Sa ngayon diringgin ko muna ang iyong mga awit,” she said in consolation.

The bereaved celebrity ended her post by writing, “Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay. Pahinga ka na.”

Jaclyn, born Mary Jane Guck, died on March 2 at 60 years old. According to Andi, her mom died due to a heart attack.

Jaclyn’s death was first announced by her agency, PPL Entertainment. Her family, through the Philippine National Police, also previously said that there was no foul play involved.

Jaclyn won the 2016 Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her sublime acting in “Ma’Rosa.”

Her other notable performances include starring and supporting roles in films such as “The Flor Contemplacion Story” and “Patay Na Si Hesus.” She also starred in several GMA Network series, including “Marimar,” “The Millionaire’s Wife,” and “D’Originals.”

The Eigenmann family, celebrities, and industry colleagues are mourning the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.

Among the stars who gathered at Jaclyn’s wake include Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Andrea Torres, Gina Alajar, Gladys Reyes, Dominic Zapata, Ina Feleo, and many more.

Andi thanked Jaclyn’s Kapuso friends, saying it’s “so amazing for me to see how much you guys loved her so much.”
