Here are three new restaurants that recently opened in Las Vegas with an eye on brunch.
Mucho Loco Brunch
Brunch is a larger-than-life affair at this new Mexican restaurant. Dedicated entirely to mid-morning dining, a pantry shelf disguises a door to the restaurant. Birria tacos are served atop a miniature food truck, cocktails come served in a replica of Chichén Itzá, and poblano pepper and corn empanadas dangle from a clothesline. Chilaquiles, steak and eggs, and blue corn pancakes are less over-the-top, served on blue plates and just right for pairing with elaborate drinks from the ample cocktail menu. Mucho Loco Brunch at 7315 Arroyo Crossing Parkway is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Sunday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Pink Duck Kitchen
Serving brunch Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m to 3 p.m., this Filipino restaurant serves breakfast classics with flavors of ube and pandan in an airy and plant-filled space. Ube pancakes are topped with sweet mangos and berries, banana bread French toast is dipped in cinnamon and vanilla batter, adobo fried chicken is served on Hawaiian rolls and shrimp is sauteed in a fragrant blend of coconut milk, ginger, garlic, and Thai chilis. Pink Duck is located in Henderson at 1205 West Sunset Road Suite 180.

Los Angeles diner, Norms, has expanded outside of California for the first time in the restaurant chain’s 75-year-old history. With all its eye-catching Googie architecture and an around-the-clock menu of diner staples, restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner — plus a menu of playful cocktails. Expect breakfasts of country-fried steak and eggs and omelets stuffed with sausage and cheese and lunch and dinner options like tuna melts with American cheese and meatloaf with bacon and gravy.
